ok my duck is sitting on hen eggs due out on the 6th, her own duck egg isnt due till the 16th.
Im going to take the 3 hen eggs away from her so they dont get squashed when they hatch and so she doesnt leave her own egg behind.
I need some ideas for a makeshift hatcher for the 3 eggs.

Any ideas would be greatly appriecated.

Sounds like you need a brooder? You are taking them after they hatch, right? All you will need is a draft free container.....cardboard box...plastic tub...and a heat lamp. They need to be at 95 degrees the first week, then drop temp by 5 degrees a week. Make sure they have room to get away from the heat lamp...if they are panting, holding wings out, they are too hot. A little bowl of medicated crumbles...and a water dish(with marbles so they dont drown) and you have all you need! Good luck with the hatch...and we will want to see pics of course!
