Making a button quail trio.

Hello!
I just separated a 9 week old silver pair of Button Quail from the group and I would like to add a second female to make a trio. Since they are a newly separated pair will they accept a new female? The new female is a bit younger and from another bloodline,

usually adding in another female isn't too difficult.

However, I would recommend:

- do it when you have the time to sit close and watch for a hour to see how they do, and check on them often the first few days
- make sure that there are no areas in the cage where the new girl can get trapped
- set up a second food and water spot
