Making a grow out coop out of a playhouse. Give me all the advise!

I'm getting this play house from my sister tomorrow to put my 3 week babies in. I plan to secure it with hardware cloth and add some perches. Any other suggestions?

Are the walls solid or are there gaps between the boards?

Ventilation is critical, so if the walls are solid then you need to add vents at the tops of the walls underneath the roof overhangs and at the top of the gables.

There are gaps in the boards, as well as "window" type holes on all sides.

OK, it was hard to see in the photo. Cover everything with hardware cloth and yours will be a lot cuter than mine.

They are currently in an identical dog crate! lol. But without the additional run set up you've made for yours. Just a dog crate inside the big kid coop. It's a bit crowded right now.

It's about 4x4 and 5 ft tall. Yes we can get into it.
