Good Morning all! I have a friend that has ask me to help make some clothes for her daughter. Let me tell you her story. Her little girl is now 18 months old. She has been very sick since she was 2 months old. Her growth is really behind. If you look at her she looks like a perfect little 6 month old. My friend wants to make her some age appropriate clothes. We also hope to make a Halloween costume for her. I have never made clothes before. Just rag purses, pillows and kids blankets/quilts. I want to help her as much as I can. She has a sewing machine and I plan on going over to her house this weekend and show her how to use it. But I would also like to try and make her some clothes my self. What I am asking from you all is. Where can I find some easy patterns? I have a pattern for the pillow case dress. But it is getting colder out. So probably need to make some warm clothes. Any info would be greatly appreciated! I am not good with store bought patterns. I'm better with someone who is selling their pattern. LOL Thanks so much for taking them time to ready my post!!

This website has always gave me such good info on my chickens. Why not sewing too lol!

If i were u i would check out patterns without zippers,i was going to suggest the pillow case dress, skirts and pants with elastic waists would be a good choice.

Can she find onesies or long sleeve shirts that fit? Also, leggings? If so - a pillowcase dress made of flannel would be adorable over a turtleneck and leggings, and should be warm.

My 3 y/o is petite, she's barely in the 2T range. So I know how hard it is to find clothes that fit right.
