Setting 12 eggs due to hatch 8/23, who will hopefully someday fill my egg basket with all shades of green!

Dad is this young Blue Copper Marans/EE cross (hatched him from a green egg) - he’s only 3.5 months old, but ≈90% of my eggs have been clearly fertilized the last two weeks before I started collecting for hatch.

Eggs #1-2 are from a Barred Rock
Eggs #3-6 are from Leghorn mixes
Eggs #7-12 are from EE mixes

Pick an egg and a Seuss themed name, and follow along!

Am I remembering correctly you did a post/hatch-a-long doing a dry hatch? I’m giving that a go this time around, hoping for better success!
I have the incubator in my bathroom and it’s hovering right around 25% humidity
I did! And you named yours Peachie O! 😆The babies are absolutely giant now!
Unfortunately I got 12 out of 24 hatch but I think it mostly had to do with several yolkers🤔
I bet you'll have better success than me. My incubator had many issues with it so that's probably another reason why more didn't make it😞
