this is new.
today the chickens were afraid of my pants so they wouldn't come out.

they are just black rainproof pants that i wear to powerwash or paint. they have seen them many times before but today they were terrifying

ALL the time. or to yell at me through the window. but they are pure nosy.

i have been just working in the garden because i have new raised beds coming. so i have been bad about taking pics. i only took one pic today and it's pretty gross, so i won't post it unless somebody wants to see it.
it's a big fat slug. possibly the biggest i ever saw. he looks like a limbless, headless frog.

ok, but i warned you!
maybe it's hard to tell how big he was, but all fat like that, he was probably about 2 1/2 inches? (6 or 7 cm) so if he stretched out, he'd be at least double that. blerg. and he's frog coloured too!

He is humongous! And scaly!

I think the hole might be a retracted tentacle. You could sell him! $21.50 for an "Irish Yellow Slug" aka "Cellar Slug."

I used to have a pet snail. It was on a bunch of grapes I had bought.

i googled and it said it's something like a gill!
who wants to buy him? i'll go out and try to find him again
he had friends, but he was the biggest one.

the snails have handles. they get chucked into the neighbour's if the chickens don't find them first.
