Making green eggs (and ham) A Seussy hatch-a-long

Humidity can definitely affect the chicks position at hatch... too dry or too wet, unstable during the entire cycle. Where are the air cells in these eggs?
The air cells were “normal” and in the fat end, but I did think they looked overly large when I candled going into lockdown. That was the first thing I thought of when they pipped that way, that the air cell was too big and they didn’t have enough room to turn.

Mooney made it out last night! He did hatch from the largest egg.. but he’s massive.. 😅 and yellow! I was expecting all black chicks.

I’ll get a pic of him when he’s fluffy!

Thneed hasn’t made any progress, but looks good in there.

Nothing from Max or Fish yet.

They do need space to turn around, humidity controls the size of the air cells, so its definitely a good possibility the chick had no room to turn toward the air cell.
