Making introductions

Mine too. Although they were hanging out in the field before anything was planted, too. Some of the chickens and ducks would follow them out there... fortunately no one ever got snatched that way.

Hopefully they take to our five lavenders, too. Those will be 3 weeks on Monday. It'll be nice to have a little more color in the flock.

The Guineas all decided to coop up together in the adult's enclosure. They used to cohabitate with ducks, but I put them in the coop I'd been keeping the keets in. The broody chickens didn't want to leave, though. It's probably fine for one night. The adult guineas have been deferring to the broodys for months.

I’m working on integrating my 1 adult (started with 15 last summer 😩) with 2 groups of keets one around 10 weeks the other 8 weeks and doing things very similar to you and it’s going great!!!! My adult has been keeping close by and them together and has even been giving my kitten so light lesson on not to mess with her babies 😂

Lol, yeah. The female leads the keets around, and will lay or roost with them wherever they go. The male stands on alert, a bit apart or to the side, and charges any chickens or ducks he doesn't like the looks of.

They all seem a bit more docile now, too. They let me approach closer and don't flee as far. I never used to be able to get within 5 feet of the adults unless I stood still and they happened to be walking in my direction. Now I can get within a foot or two : D

Going very well still.
They got very close this morning, and actually let me approach a little closer without fleeing.

Not sure how much of the feed the keets are eating. It stays around their coop, so they always have access to it, but they wander all over. I put it in their coop when I lock up at night, and take it out in the morning. I figure that's all I can do.
