Same here. I just got lucky and got the coloring 😅. Personally if you have the space, I'd hold on to at least that one until it's colored out
Space? yeah, I got that - and plenty of older birds that need to go first. Headed out to start on that now.

Not as mature as i thought he was. Liver was firm and glossy, but not as dark or consistent in color as i like to see. Pulled some of the kidneys as well so you can see mottling i associate with the higher calcium diet, but no chalkiness or lesions -i consider this acceptable risk management.

Based on live weight, yield should be about 4.18#, less skin. How did the butcher do?

I'd say he did alright. Based on this bird, flock health is fine. Two to go .
