I will probably go to the effort of scalding my birds as well. It's been about a year since I've butchered one of mine young enough to be good for something other than stew stock soup or sausage

Tomorrow, White Bird and Black bird go away, likely some of the others. There will be a close look in effort to ensure not more than one male remains.
