We need news???
We are goign to fill two flats of eggs for our neighbors (to eat), then start a new hatch. That should give me an extra 10-14 days between hatches as well, so I won't need to have the two batches sharing one space at any point.

Assuming, of course, I get the shade tarps up for the goats - who have otherwise "adopted" the hoop coop.
 
Isn't that what coq au vin is for? Long stewing of a tougher rooster.
its what Sous Vide is for. The red wine I made from my muscadines is undrinkable. WAY too much tannin. I should have removed the must sooner. I think that'sd the right word. pomace? the crushed grapes w/ skin...
