This posting made me think of your color project.

Its a good post I've seen before. There are also predators who key on movement. and profile. Pattern is good for profile, helpful for movement.

I would rain dance for us all - but after hours of instruction, I've been advised by the local tribes not to attempt it. Appreciate the effort they put into teaching me to toe heel toe toe heel properly. It is a skill beyond me.

Me too. I'll go dance in the side yard under the moon. There's a super moon tonight. Extemporaneous dancing, I'll make it up as I go along.

OMG!!! IT WORKED!!!

We got rain, and it's still raining!

They did forecast widespread rain for our area, with a cold front moving through. It was overcast, so I couldn't see the moon. But I did, sort of, kind of, dance... a little.

Wish I could say the same. Still dry here - split around us all
afternoon. 30 miles in any direction? different story.
