I have been using hovabators for several years now and currently have three operating. I am looking at different incubators people have made and have decided on the refrigerator ones to build. I have two refrigerators I plan to convert. One is a single and the other a side by side. I would like to use one as an incubator and the other for hatching. I have been reading on different thermastates and do not know what would be best. I have seen the water heater ones and I have the wafer ones in my styrofoam ones. Will the heating elements from my old incubators work in the refrigerators or should I go with light bulbs or even the flex watt? Any help and ideas on which refrigerator would be best as a incubator would be great!! I also would like to have turners in it. I have two turners now, should I use those or build something? Thanks for your time and help!

I would go with the single door forget the water heater thermostat and find a old fish tank heater and take it apart and use it has worked really well for me.
