Making new and improved chicken tractors

How big is 4.0? It looks HUGE, but could just be appearance, LOL.

Ha. It is purty big, it measures 10 ft wide by 15 ft long and right around 6ft tall in the center. My step son and I are working on them right now, look for more pictures tomorrow!

Well guys Im sorry about not getting the pictures up. I know I missed the self imposed deadline for that. I am off work since the weekend the sand mine where I work is shut down for a freak winter storm. It was 75 degrees on saturday!!! Anyway I do have the wheel assemblies made and I made a steering mechanism that works!!!! All that is left is to put roosts on, cover with chicken wire and put the tarps on top. And chicks will be here tomorrow



I do have pictures but it takes about 10 minutes per photo with the cruddy signal we have here. So I will upload them as soon as I get to some wifi

Good documentation is not often speedy....get them up when you can.

Ok here are the pictures promised. basically in the crook of it where there is a small piece of pipe. It will go onto an axle stob that I will weld onto each side. Then it will roll under and lift up the rear of the tractor. The next few are of the front steering assembly. There is a piece that is affixed to each tractor and the the part with the tires can move between the two. Saves time in making more.
I got the axle stobs and braces cut today, hopefully can get them welded on tomorrow. If you pray keep me in your prayers it is gonna be a cooold night at work haha. Oh and there was a miscommunication between me and the hatchery. The chicks shipped today so they will be in tomorrow!.
