making skirts

Has anybody ever made clothing out of vintage pillow cases. I use to make the pillow case dresses all the time with them, but daughter is getting to tall for the dresses. I think I will do skirts. Has anybody ever made tops out of them?

if you put in “pillowcase top” into the search engine at Etsy there are several ideas you could get from looking at the ones for sale.

I have seen "peasant shirts" made from them with short sleeves but do not recall seeing a tutorial for that.

there are some free patterns for making skirts from pillowcases out there...you could try just doing a search for "pillowcase skirt pattern" and see what you come up with!!!

I make pillowcase dresses for my girls. Will have to get a pic uploaded - I am sure the skirts are just as easy to make
