What kind of layers you have, again? Mine are all RSL's; maybe larger birds than what you have.

None of the eggs are from my girls. They are all bought eggs. My layers are Black Australorps and Silver Laced Wyandotte.

How old is the Dom?
I know they lay that medium-sized egg the first year

If they're like any tortoises I've ever heard of, they'll probably outlive your children; maybe your grandchildren. Are they male & female? Will they breed in captivity?
