Its a pigment change on your cheeks.. From what I understand it is a sign of Lupis but can also come from other hormonal changes... I dont know much... but I do have a slight pigment change on my cheeks that look like a butterfly.

WOW! Never heard of it before...I sure hope it all turns out for the best.

I think it is a hormonal issue that is causing the other symptomatic stuff. My last blood work said higher elevated kidney cells but that is most likely do to the meds. I think that something is causing a monthly reaction which is causing my body to swell.. my hernia to get worse at times..... even my tooth that hurts only hurts during those times.... I just dont know what it is.

The tooth issue makes me think nerve damage, or something periodically putting pressure on one, but that's just a SWAG

Yes, I have.. with blood tests. She sent me to a gastro... who I have been seeing. but no answers from either.. The gastro says is a hernia. but I know there is more to it... I just dont know how to proceed from here.

If you feel like it's more than just that and the Doc ain't providing info I'd find a different Doc.
