Much love for you too Linda.Today is gonna be in the 80s. I have to take boy three to the ortho... Oly girl to the vet today... She is favoring her leg a lot now. Won't hardly use it so hopefully they will have a solution. Hopefully something good will come everyone's way today.
Today I am grateful that I can still drink coffee with this annoying cough.
Yesterday I found a house that I really loved. 113,000 on one acre of land in the country. Not sure if we are gonna be able to get it... But it was in the perfect location.
Got lots to do.. The day should fly by really fast. Much love my friends.
Many years ago oly and Kyle lived somewhere else. She escaped the yard and got hit by a car. She has nerve damage in one of her legs. She has been playing more since we have moved in with the folks so I think it's putting too much pressure of the leg. I don't know what Kyle did when the injury first occurred. I know she went to the vet.. Just don't know what they did to help her injuries. I'm not sure if they will be able to do anything but it's worth a shot to see. She also has open soars on the pads of her feet due to allergies. Gonna have that checked out too. Even a pain medicine would be better than nothing so she can play more. She's a little piggy piggy.
I had a lab/dalmation mix about 5 yrs ago that started favoring his one back leg. Sadly it didn't end well for him.![]()
He ended up having bone cancer in it. Could have had the leg removed and than had a three legged dog but when we found out about the cancer we also found out he was getting hip dysplasia. So removing the one leg only would have prolonged his agony. At the time my son was just starting to learn to crawl around and loved getting on the dog, the dog didn't like it much and couldn't get up and out of the way fast enough. We could tell he was hurting so we had him put down on April 1st.Ohhhh no.... Hugs to you chaos. What was wrong with the leg?

Pongo was only 6 when we had him put down. When he first started favoring his back leg we had no clue what it might be. He eventually started losing muscle definition in the leg from lack of use. It's always hard trying to balance between keeping them comfortable and our own selfish desires.I'm sorry chaos. Those are tough choices to have to make. I was thinking it was cancer but didn't want to assume. Oly girl is eight years old. She's not a pup no more. I just want her to be comfortable. She's my baby. Which I know you understand.
