I was wondering if anyone who lives in Northern California has some tips?
I just had my beloved hen at my friends taken by something flying. But even the loss I still want chickens at home so I want to build the safest chicken coop I can before I go get chickens.
So obviously I need netting/wire over the top. I know I need small wire mesh so raccoon's can't grab chickens threw the sides of the coop.
Any tips and input how to defend against local wildlife would be great.
