I don't know the exact standard at your fair for the Malay and don't know a lot about asil standard, because they're so many types. Several of my black malay have black portions on their legs. Find out what standard they're using for both birds and Google it or just call fair officials and see if they can get you some information. They're a lot of people sale a lot of birds and claim it to be a certain type, but if your not real familiar with the breed or getting from a reputable breeder, your taking a big chance. I would also stay away from Hatcheries. They cross most of they're oriental birds to get better egg production.

yes I know not to buy from hatcheries and I also know what breed mine are I know many breeds of oriental and game fowl breeds I just wanted to know if I would get DQed if they had some black on there legs lol

the asil will probably get DQed but but not positive it depends on how well the judge knows the breed because he or she may not catch is but the show is run by the apa standrd and a foreign leg color is a DQ acording to it and the malay i think will just get docked points depending on what color it is.
just out of curiosity are you the one who brought the shamo and malay to the show in june?
we are also going and bringing many bantam cubalayas
and for an FYI you could try Ultimate fowl there are lots of people with different types of games that would probably be able to anser your questions beter than i because i only have cubalayas and other various breeds.
