I need to take new pictures of my babies! The trio I hatched from mbrobbins are gorgeous colors and so small, and all of my seramas are looking beautiful. I managed to convince myself not to hatch any more chicks for now, just because I have a fair amount and I want to watch the ones I have feather out. I've got seven serama babies in the house as it is because it's too cold for baby seramas right now (plus another four baby Icelandics--eleven chickens in the house!). My adult seramas do fine in the cold, though--their house at night stays warm with all of them in there, and so far the cold doesn't seem to bother them even when it gets down into the teens. I'm always watching to make sure they're doing all right and they really don't seem bothered. I think it's just a matter of acclimation.
On another note, one of the birds I thought was a cockerel turned out to be a pullet! I could've sworn this bird was a cockerel, but now I'm pretty sure it's a pullet. Beautiful bird, regardless!
