Humm, well none of mine were that color as chicks so I guess I'll just have to wait and get surprised on the color then,

They have brown and white feathering coming in, who knows what they'll end up then , lol

I'll take some updated photo's tomorrow with good lighting but here are a couple pics I just took of one of them on my desk. So this isn't mottled? Her momma's dad was very mottled. She was essentially a yellow chick with faint/partial chipmunk striping

PP yours are great.The 2 that I hatched from you look like some of the hens in the pix,mine are sooo pretty any the feather patterns are so delicate.ANd Austin I wish I could convince you to sell eggs those are great love them
