Thanks guys! I just can't make up my mind which incubator to use for them though. The last hatch in my Brinsea was a disaster so I'm really afraid. I hate my LG but have never lost that many chicks in it. Sigh....what do you guys think?

I finally took my new babies out of the bator...11 of 14 'set to hatch' eggs. The starting number of eggs was 29 I believe, but there were a lot of clears upon first candling. I don't blame them, if I had to live outside in this weather I wouldn't be 'in the mood' either

LOL I know Cloverleaf...I hate my LG with a passion. I got rid of both of them but Silkiechicken had to return it - too many incubators

so I put the overflow of eggs in it. I hate it everyday - having to turn the eggs, always check the temp etc - but for hatching it was great compared to the Brinsea. The Brinsea is great for the auto turner (love it!) and the consistency of the temp but without the pump, the humidity during hatching is a nightmare to control. Newtochick, I wish I had broke down and spent the extra money for the pump or just bought the EX. If I hatch (

"if" I hatch - yeah right) next winter, I'll buy the pump.

My gut can't make up its mind lol.

I didn't have any problems with my LG. I put a dimmer switch knob on the adjuster to make it less sensitive. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it didn't have a fan, otherwise I had good luck with it.

I sold it last spring because I 'thought' my 2 hovabators would be enough...I'm thinking of getting another LG because they are cheap (#1) and because I need more bators
