Poor baby, he'll be depressed............

I made an error with mine when I brought them home.
I put them in a temporary cage that had two levels.hence. the roo's tails got a little
beat up by the time I realized the problem....So unhappy with myself for that.
So fun to see all the photo's.................

Theres eight in each . i'll try to get a better pic of the hole thing and post it alot of people have ask about the cage i call them the "serama mothership" they can hold about three birds per cage for a total of about 24 seramas getting ready to build two more real soon .

That roo does look like mine. Yours has a better tail. Lol!!! And a better comb. We've diagnosed mine as having CRD in another thread. What would you other serama peeps do? Cull it? Treat? I think I will give him away if someone wants him. I don't know. Sooner the better before I get too attached.

i would probley treat him thats just me i always want to fix the sick ones. but if you found him a home you would be better off . i think your # 5 chick is a roo anyway . good luck .

He is. I'm pretty sure of it. The breeder has been pretty good with me. I got the rooster free. She felt bad that her daughter pulled out the feathers this am. And then she sent me a 5th chick to go with the four I asked for. I told her pick four girlie looking ones to give to my husband. And four are girlie and that one is the only boy looking one and it's chick 5.

Nice looking rooster there! The newest chick isn't ready for photo's yet, it's still in the incubator but should be ready for the brooder tomorrow and will be more fluffed up. I did get some pics of the Truffles chick before we went out to dinner, while it was still light enough for decent pictures.
Here is the chick all fluffed up.

The other chick is still needing to finish drying off, the little owl,

It does sort of look like an owl, I think I'd call it Hoot if I hadn't already named it Riki (the other one by Blu-T is named Tiki)

I hope everyone has great hatches and it will be your turn to share photo's.

ya but all your birds have better type than most of mine my friend. hows life treating you jp it been very hot here just moved all the breeders around today and moved all the little seramas to a cage altoghter . they think they are all big seramas lol. working on getting some time in the next two weeks to come down and see you just waiting for the car to get fixed and i have to save some cash up to pay for gas! but it all looks good so far so hopefully i will see you real soon my friend take care.
