Jake, you should get some very typey and nice offspring from this guy. Just make sure you breed to something that is of his equal! Ken is just busy breeding his "true" cocopop so don't mind him......You have a great start with this guy.

i was at kates a few weeeks ago and saw this guy he is VERY typey congratz jake on getting him he should be an awesome addition to your flock just breed him properly and he will do you well.

Kate job well done he is handsome you raised another good looking bird....OH BTW lil benny is going thru molt but his type all the sudden has started improving a whole lot more.....im actually becoming more and more impressed with him daily..... he is trully developing nicer and nicer.

and as far as pics go im in agreeance im not posting a picture to just post a picture....it will be done properly and with every bit of pose as possible as far as seeing my birds.....loads of people saw them at the june show....my ladies all did very well even my 6oz cocopop hen. should of been there all my birds except gaby and princess where there..... I still miss dun laced hen though she was my baby girl and so typey....darn ok i have to stop or ill tear up again

omg i just read this thread back away to see if anyone had advice on hatching eggs......im kinda appauled and happy i dont get involved with certain peeps and their behavior..... Kate as a state rep your doing a great job for the Serama keep it up cuz we as a state are starting to really shine out with these guys....as for some of the other comments i mean honestly we have children acting and behaving better on here OH and its FYI not FIY.

ken you may have nice birds but as somone who is fairly new to this whole thing attitude and humility go a long way....quit dropping jerrys name like he is your best friend holy cow i think i counted jerrys name like 20 times on your posting alone....yes he may be the serama god father but there are people wo are doing just as well or maybe even better than he in this world....you really dont have to constant rub jerrys name and sound important that way once is enough if you got good birds from him breed some of your own and make a name for yourself.

far as my cocopop or blues go no ill be fine working with cara kate and joey with those projects their attitudes exude MENTOR and make me want to go to them for advice.....wow i really am sad i went back to read previous postings its very enlightening

I may have misunderstood your meaning (and I'm sorry if I did) but a lot of people use this thread for different purposes. A lot of us use it to post photos of our new babies or birds, others to show their nice quality birds, breeding questions, etc etc. I think all of those things are fine and should be welcomed on this thread by everyone. The first post was about showing off new Seramas and while we all have different levels of Seramas (quality wise) I think we all share a common love for the breed and really enjoy seeing everyone's photos. I for one love seeing all the birds - the colors, the types, the breeding projects. It's a great learning tool and the eye candy is always good!

Stepping off my soapbox now lol
