yea thats when I breed too many or over hatch some has to go to the grill thats my weekend hobby grilling lol

It was a sad day for me yesterday, lost my micro hen who was just over 2 yrs old. She had been fine that morning as I had been cuddling her and clipping her beak and toenails, suddenly a few hours later she was dust bathing one second and the next she was doing the crappie flop and died within seconds. R.I.P my lil bit.

Her mate godzilla and the 2 other hens in with them were devistated from the loss so much so that all 3 of them went and stood over her, little godzilla was crying

and mango tried her hardest to get lil bit to get up by preening her feathers as she laid there. It amazes me how close they get with each other and how the loss affects them when one of their flock mates passes. She was an extremely tiny and very delicate hen who never laid an egg a day in her life altho she sat in the nest like she wanted to. Last time I weighed her she was just under 7 oz. To be honest I didn't think she would make it past 1 yr. She was a very special hen who came running to me everytime she seen me, demanding to be held and cuddled. I am gonna miss her
