ken i am not gonna have some nasty ghetto chickens in my yard just for hatching eggs....the city has enough of them and they are a nuisance. (ghetto chicken = pigeon)

jake thanks but im not driving to escondido to hatch eggs lol.....either they will or wont for me lol

cara serious man i have to learn chicken body language lingo LOL if he throws the eggs out of the box then how does the hen know what to do with them if they are all over

well i have one broody and she is doing a good job...and the incubator this time around i think will give me something so im a bit hopeful

maybe i should just toss the eggs i have in the incu and wait for due date for broody and switch new ones out

OMG he looks EXACTLY like my late rooster whitey! Oh how I miss that stinker

Whitey took over a year to show me his full potential. For months before that I thought he was nothing special til he came out of his shell. Gorgeous roo ya got there

You have any pics of him I would love to see more whites being kept they are very nice

He passed away over the winter so I don't have recent pics but I do have a few.

This one is whitey and bernie, my very first seramas. Bernie is still here altho has a slight handicapp now (got into it bad with another roo thru a fence and lost his bottom beak). Bernie and whitey always got along great.

Here is whiteys son casper, taking as long as whitey to reach his full potential too, and this boy cannot be tamed! I have tried everything.... He is a big boy, very big and mean to the other roosters, he thinks he runs the show. Note he is standing on the picninc table where he knows he is not suppose to be crowing at me as to say "i do what I want so there"
