Hey all. I was gone for two days and my mother only had Dial up connection. It took ten minutes to just get to hotmail. I said forget it because I was about to throught the computer out the window. I thought I was going to go through BYC serama thread withdrawl. I now know that I for sure have a problem!!!

I think my birds are old enough now to guess on their feather colors...just took some photos.

I also got to meet Nurseshelly and her family this weekend while in Gilbert, AZ. Nicest people you will ever meet. Also got to see her son put the sleep hold on Elvis. It is about two rubs of his waddle and he is comatous!!!

Page 50, the bird in the hand (my hand), is the same bird posted above (he keeps getting more golden with each moult), she calls it an 'impure cocoapop'

I gave them dancing names because their frizzled feathers just give them an artsy fancy looking well...look. Though mine look really tattered. The wire cage they are in is too small. They have outgrown it and Swayze is a big serama. His feathers rub the top of the cage (his tail feathers) obviously for all of you from the 80s you know the names are all related to dancing movies. I just didn't want to name Swayze dirty dancing. I actually named him first and the others followed.

Oh and you probably can't tell but footloose has some off feathered legs. I guess if shown they would be plucked since he isn't a true booted.

Anyone know what colors they are though?

And one more question! What causes their comb to look purple on the edge? I know when i took pictures footloose has a bit of purple tinge. I also have a large roo outside whose comb has purple on an edge. Should I be concerned? It doesn't look right.
