There you are, Jessi! I was wondering where you were! Ondra hasn't been on here lately either, and I feel like I've been filling everyone's heads with misinformation!

You do have a lot of catching up to do, because everyone and their mother has Seramas these days, and they'll want to pick every inch of your brains. For starters, check out my "frostbit toes" thread on SCNA. That's the hen you sold me last year. Her new nickname is Drumstick! Just started laying again, so I think we're out of the woods.

Amyquilt, those two birds from my eggs look exactly like two that I hatched myself. I have detestable hatching skills, so I don't have many, but it's uncanny how similar they are! I'll bet your black tailed buff came out of Royal's egg, and the roo was sired by Jester.

I saw my frizzle boy lovin on one of the ladies!!! Bom chicka wow wow!!!
I cracked a egg open and BULLS EYE!!! I have been boiling all there eggs and feeding the

Sure, the chickens could just move to a spare bedroom! No, my uncle lives a mile down the road, and he wants to start boarding. I know it's the perfect place, because he lives at the farm where I grew up, and I had horses then, too. Can't keep my overflow birds there, though; it is a commercial poultry operation, NPIP, biosecurity and all

Hey Candace, I woke up to the sound of DH's phone ringing. It just happened to be the post office. Our PO is closed on Sat. and Sun. They come in long enough to put out the mail and then go home.

A lovely route driver noticed that we had a package and called us. We don't even have a route address. He just seen out name on a box labeled "HATCHING EGGS" and decided to call.

Only problem is he called Andrew. I didn't tell him that I ordered a dozen Serama eggs.

Well he got up and dressed and went to the PO for me. He didn't even complain about the eggs or having to get up earlier than expected.

I received 17 perfect eggs. I just candled to see what is going on with the airsacs and shells. They are all great. There were only 2 with semi-loose airsacs.

Last time I had Seramas shipped, I got 6 and only 2 hatched, with one dying shortly after.

Look at this.

Gotta love small towns. We only have a population of less than 150. I hope they all hatch. I don't even care if they are boys or girls. LOL I just want some more babies.

Do you like white? I swear two breeding pens through all white birds this winter.
Ill have to get pics today and come back to show you guys what Im dealing with. I need to count and see what I have anyway. There are Serama everywhere over here.

Anyway, have to run back outside, but Ill see if I have a princess for Prince!
