If you do try to rehome this roo he would be considered a "special needs" fellow. It would have to be disclosed and if you could find a person that wanted an indoor pet he would be good for that....Is he a friendly fellow at all?

Seems to be. I took some photos of him next to my kitten. Pretty funny! I'm calling him Charlie. I think I will try to find him a home. He's so pretty. There has got to be someone who wants an obnoxious pretty serama in my town as a house chicken

One last thing, and then I will say no more. A VERY long time breeder that I know just lost his ENTIRE flock that he's been working on for 20+ years because he wasn't careful about cross-contamination, even though he was "quarantining" some birds he picked up. Even kept "separate" as in a house, if folks aren't SUPER careful about cross contamination, he can still infect someone else's entire flock. I strongly urge you to either return him to the breeder that he came from or cull him.

I think you are bringing up a VERY GOOD POINT!!! Be careful, If you see that you have a bird that may be sick, separate it, do not take it to public places or chicken meet ups to ask everone what is wrong with it, you can possibly contaminate all of your friends birds with a fatal virus!!! Some people spean years developing lines of birds to introduce something new to ones flock is a huge risk and not fair to the buyer of the new birds!!

OH WOW Love this color.
