Your eggs are on the way btw...I'll send you a PM with the tracking number. I was able to squeeze a dozen out of the girls...last one popped at 4:45pm!

Personally, I think buying eggs and having them shipped is a waste of time. If you get 2 out of 12 to hatch you are lucky. A better investment of your time, efforts and money is to purchase good quality birds and hatch your own eggs.

I used to think that but people are getting 90-100% on my shipped eggs so I dont' think that is always true

I like the look on the younger ones best.

I guess what I am asking is if it is too hot to ship eggs. I am afraid I will have baked eggs by the time they get here. I am wanting more eggs but If I need to wait til it cool off I will.

I wish I could answer that. I've never purchased eggs in the summer, only winter. I suppose the same would hold true? I had eggs freeze so I guess they potentially could cook. Maybe someone with more experience will answer. I know I've been shipping eggs like crazy all over the place, even FL and it's hot there too.

Zoomumzy- if you lived closer I would just come buy some chicks from you. I am trying to think of an excuse to come up your way. We never did go an offical honeymoon...we got married in Mexico, but I don't think Oregon to get Serama chicks is really what my husband had in mind, though it would be my dream trip. I could drive down through california and pick up several along the way from the BYCer! ROADTRIP!!!

There you go! I love NM, so I wish I could bring them to you. I have a good friend on FB who keeps asking me to come down.
