It's an exciting day. Zephyr is so special in our family (as you already know) and now we have his babies. I was so sad in my first hatch when none of his made it. And yes, Sue, he is getting very bright and colorful and finally he is posing more, but only when he thinks I'm not looking lol. Such a rebel.

Zoomumzy-I checked out your for sell page on your blogspot and there were about 5 that I wanted...All am I am saying is it is a dang good thing you live far away from me or I would be in big trouble. You have some beautiful babies!!

I was setting here reading through all the posts, wow you all were busy today. I loved the pictures and stories and I hated to hear about the little micro. I've not had any last very long, a few months at most so you did a great job for the lil guy.

While I was reading, I heard a cheep. It's weird how in tune I've become to the difference in the chicks cheeping in the brooder and any of them that are hatching

I went to check and sure enough, one of Truffles chicks decided to pop out to see what was happening in the outside world. It's not actually out yet but nearly unzipped so it should be out soon. It's an active lil guy and has a lot of energy. I put Truffles in with Blu-T on June 21st so this could be his chick since it was set June 26th.

I just got 3 chicks from Nurseshelly!! Yeah. My sister in-law lives by her and was coming to visit, so I jumped on the opportunity to get some. It about drove her crazy with all the chirping. I would think her annoying 5 year old would drive her more crazy, but thats just me. They are so pretty. I am sure they are all roosters because the pretty ones always are!!! Thanks Michele- Cant wait to meet you in person! I will try to take some pictures tomarrow and post

Awesome! I glad someone is calling me an animal lover not a hoarder like my mother calls me. She hates dogs and we have 4!
