......I was thinking of go cat hunting
, then on second thought if all my neighbors can put up with all the noises my roosters make without a complaint, I decided not to do it in order to keep the harmony in my neighborhood. I will just cut my lost and go build a better run to keep those darn cats out.
Bill, its normal for a broody hen poop a large smelly one twice a day when they come out for food and water, there are some do it their nest box.
I always clean it up right away to keep it from stink up the whole place.
