DUDE you are concerned about your hen, it is a learning experience for a young roo, if you dont want him hurd and you dont want your hen picked on , take him out of the brood pen put him by himself, put a different roo in with the hen and problem solved, you roo is separate the hen is not picked on and it is all OK!! the hens wont kill him they will manner him!!

I have to agree. I put my aggressive young roos in with older hens - Serama and other breeds too. It straightens them up right away!
