I swear - it is the strangest thing - there is NO COMB. I have raised 4 pea-combed chicks. At almost 8 weeks there is nothing. No little bumps. Totally flat. The guy I got the egg from raises Seramas, but I'm telling you - it came out of one of the eggs marked "Sptiz" - the original Appenzeller Spitzhaubens I had ordered from him. He threw in two freebie Serama eggs, but I KNOW I had to throw both out. I had gotten excited about them, too.

looks more of a EE mix bird to me cause of the green legs and color on the bird

I am loving my babies from nurse shelly and zoomumzy. I have a photo shoot scheduled for wend and that is also hatch day!!!

I walked by the incubater and it peeped at me.............
today is lockdown and I had not moved them to the hatcher yet.
Hope I don't shrink wrap the little guy.(or gal)

If no comb it might be an ee mix. I am actually pairing a bantam ee with one of my seramas for a while since I don't want one of my pullets to get badgered too much by the roo. My ee is silver and has no comb at all. Kept waiting...and waiting... And now she's got to be 14+ weeks and still not even a hint of a bump. It's very odd.
