Go direct to Metzger Farms if ordering online. They apparently are the duck resource for ALL hatcheries. They’re out of California.

I’ve had good luck with them.

And yes there is a limit for shipping...no less than 3 ducklings.

From what I've heard and read from different sources, Metzer maintains good breeding practices and offer a lot of educational information and advice to anyone who wants it. For example, if you have a question about color genetics of your duck, even if you didn't purchase from them, they are usually pretty helpful and open with information. HOWEVER, you get what you pay for. They have high standards which doesn't come free. I would love to obtain 3 white layer pullets from them but they cost of shipping is not attractive to me. If I were closer, I would attempt to pick up in person.
