I have 2 silver lacewing wyandottes. I was told the farm supply I got them from gets only females (with about a 95% success rate). I was satisfied that they were both girls as of the last few weeks but suddenly today the one farther back sprouted huge wattles and the comb grew. She (maybe he) also got extremely red in the face as of this week. They're 20 weeks tomorrow... maybe it's just close to laying? Or do I have a rooster on my hands? No crowing so I'm really hoping not.
