male and female?

so here are a few pics of my 2 quail. I have been told that they are both female however i am getting one egg a day and when i cracked them open this morning they deffinently looked fertile (im used to chicken eggs however)

i know its not the best pic but you tell by the front colors right?

They look like two girls to me but I'm pretty new at this myself. One reason for the fertile egg might be that your hen was with a roo before you got her. The eggs will be fertile in that case for quite a while.
