They were sold in the McMurry catalog as americuana chicks. Actually, they were listed as Aracuana/Americuana (the Easter egg chick) in the catalog...no matter what their breed, they are all very good chickens! We are lucky to have such a happy bunch!

Easter Eggers are great chickens, I have many and they are my favorite chickens in my bunch. They are all different looking very friendly and the eggs are so colorful. I get different shades of Blues and greens and my Olive Egger just started laying so now I have olive eggs too. EEs make for a pretty egg basket, enjoy them.

Thanks! Yes, I saw the comb and red markings but keep getting told that it still may be a pullet. If it is a male, I need to find a home asap! No roosters in my community!
