(The pond is super muddy cause of a storm yesterday. Washed a lot of lose dirt in to it)

Looking like a male to me. That bill has green and that's more of a male trait. Also the white on the chest stops and it looks like a collar, which points to male too.
I think you should be able to tell by voice now though.
