Male or Female Guinea

How can you tell a male or a female guinea????? I have one Lavender Guinea! I don't know if it is a he/she??

It is simple if the bird is "calling".

Listen to the call for a single or double syllable.

The female is the ONLY one that can make the double syllable call.

It sounds like "buck wheat" or "come back". and they are notorius for doing it as much as they can.
