Male or female Ideal 236

This is the best I could for pictures. She or he was in a mood. Hope you can tell if it's a boy or girl

Sorry I didn't know the tail feathers were needed. I was trying to get head pics. If it helps the tail feathers are straight up and kind of fluffy. Not like my rooster. His are long and "showy" fancy pretty. The ideal's is more like the barred rock hens tail. How can I tell by looking at the tail feathers?

Maybe someone has good pics of a male and female to post to show me the difference between the two to compare

How old is the bird? I'm thinking pullet, but a profile pic, including legs is best for sexing. White birds are hard to photograph, when we're asking about the tail area we're looking for saddle feathers hanging down off the body in front of the tail.

If you look at the young male in the top photo, you can see the beginnings of the long, curving hackle and sickle feathers in the tail which are lacking in the female in the bottom photo.

Honestly it looks like a hen, my ideal 236 rooster had an extremely large comb from a chick but the thing with the roosters is their Combs grow attached pretty far back, the hens kind of hang
