Male or Female Mottled Cochin?

Hello everyone!

I'm new to chickens and am confused about the sex of this little one. I got a mottled cochin from a breeder and she swore it was female, it turned out to be male. So she gave me another as a replacement and swore yet again it was a female. From its looks and personality it looks male to me, but I want some thoughts before I rehome the 3rd rooster of the 7 "pullets" I bought, all from the same breeder!

Roughly 2 months at this point. I will post a full picture shortly!

Any way you can narrow down the age? If its 8 weeks I'd say cockerel. If its 10 weeks I'd say pullet. Full body shots could help.

It looks female if its over 4 months a male would have a larger comb. How old is it?

OK sorry I just saw 2 months. My cochin hens don't usually have a comb showing until a bit later.

So here is the Mottled Cochin and my Blue Amerucauna. I bought both of them on June 29. Not sure of the amerucana's sex either.

I will say female on both for now. When I had cochin cockerels they had more of a comb than that at 5 weeks.

If not crowing very soon I think you got a female there.

I think you have one male and one female. I believe the Blue is female, Just a guess for now. Give them some time you will know.
