Did you buy them as sexed pullets or did you hatch them
 
I have the same question. Mine is older. Any help is appreciated. Hoping female because I live in a city.

It has been decades since I raised chickens. I was raised on a farm where gender didn't matter much. We had about 20 chickens and more eggs than we could eat. Well, knowledge fades with time. I spent 20 years in the Army and retired a few years ago. I am a renter and finally got the go ahead to raise chickens a couple months ago. That very Saturday, we bought chicks.

How old? this one might be starting to get hackle and saddle feathers--indicates a cockerel.

RIRs can take time to start crowing
