Male or female silkies? Male or female Buff Polish?

Well the mystery is finally 100% solved with the Buff Polish... He crowed...well screeched in front of me today.

For now as long as he isn't feisty, and stays relatively quiet he can stay with us.

Oh, and we named him Jerry Lee Lewis...

Your Polish is a roo. The male generally is a slight darker too in the feathering, the hens are more light tan. A hens poof is rounded and a roos is all wild looking. Congrats ! You will enjoy him very much. Ours thinks he is just as big as our Giants and Brahmas!!!
