Male or female silkies?

Black (Bats)with buff leakage through neck and back approx 11 weeks. Has a flat but wide comb

White (meeva) approx 7 weeks old. Also has a flat but wide comb.

I also have 2 other black silkies that have a thin but tall comb

White looks like a pullet. The top one could be a roo, but I'm not the best when it comes to silkies.

Could you get better pictures of their faces? But for now I agree with the post above.

agree and I like to see a head shot with crests pulled back to show full comb.

I'll get some new photos tomorrow. Bats is Definitely a roo. Crows louder than my barred rock roo. Lol

Well it matters to me. I like to be able to say he or she when referring to a bird, roosters don't lay eggs and my silkie rooster is the nastiest one out of the 15 that I have.
