I thought so too. but I just say Duckie is gender neutral

Have they ever quacked even just a quiet one? If they still peep is is clear or more like a whisper? My guess is female as well which sometimes there are just quiet ones. I have hens that never make noise even when picked up.

I think it’s a girl. Reminds me of a lot of the wild mallard females I see every now and again at the pond.
