male or female...

i read on here about the sexing of ducks and was forgetting what i read....

i have two ducks...not sure what breed...but the one has a really loud honk when i go to pick it up..does that mean i male or female??? thanks for the reply!!! i really hope that i have a male & female....plus the one is really protective..it charges the dog when he comes near....like its protecting its mate!!!

we finally built a box for them to go into lastnight...we went out and put them into it....they loved it!!!! i love them..they r soo cute!!! they r 1 month old tomorrow!!!

The females are the louder ones. Sometimes it can take a few extra weeks to be completely sure by voice sexing- but for now it sounds like you have one of each. Fingers are crossed for you that it is one of each.
