Can't guess on silkies, but I have a yard full of EE's and that one looks like a boy to me. Red patches, red comb.

I am going to see the breeder in a few days so I can get a picture. She may have been lighter. This one's brother is red with the same mahogany color across the shoulder.

This is the brother and the chicken in question next to each other, the brother by himself and a headshot of the questionable chicken.

That EE still looks like a roo to me, just not developing as fast as the brother. I would also love a picture of the mother, I'm really curious about her coloring.

Well the EE crowed today. He and his brother are getting a bachelor pad and the other two are being exchanged for hens

If it is a roo, it's very pretty! Where are you located? I have someone I know who has their eye out for an EE roo.

I am about 20 minutes outside of Ann Arbor, Michigan. I am keeping the EE's but may stud them out if they are pretty enough.
