hi im new to this and this is my first post...I have 16 fully grown button quail
im not sure
how many males or females I have please and thank you.

I don't know anything about quail but BYC has a section for OTHER Backyard Poultry- I think once you locate that, there are some threads concerning quail - probably any of the quail people could help you with gender.
